Second Quarter is here. We will be focusing more on cursive handwriting in our assignments. Spelling tests will be done in cursive from this week on. Here are a few websites to help review and practice cursive.

RODEO GRILL

Rodeo Grill was a huge success! We want to thank our investors and valuable customers. We could not have done it without you. We will be able to pay back our loan to Bank of Elliott and still have a profit of $344.00. We will use our profit to pay for upcoming events such as: Pioneer Day, Girls'/Boys' Day Out, and class activities. It was a great day for learning and making memories! Practice the following things for the test:

* Figuring money amounts from descriptions. Example: 4 $10 bills, 2 $1 bills, 3 quarters, 2 nickels = ________

* Making change from $1, $5, $10, $20.

* Estimate totals of items. Ex. $.79, $1.56, $2.99 = ($1 + $2 + $3 = $6)

* Counting back change.

* Adding and Subtracting money amounts.

* Showing 2 ways of the same amount. (Drawing the money.)
