Postcards

Today we read about the postcards Mary received from her father while he traveled across America. We are going to be part of the online project Postcard Geography this year. We will be getting postcards from classes across America and maybe the world. We will be sending postcards out to over 140 classes also.

What information or things do we need to put on our postcards about Nixa? Where would you like to get postcards from? What kinds of things would you like to see or read about on the postcards from other places?

Make sure to put your class number at the end of your comments.

Summer Fun 2007

Happy Summer!

My family and I just returned home from a wonderful trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We spent a week on the beach. It was beautiful. It sure got me in the mood for our class theme this year... Mrs. Elliott's Beach Party! We are going to surf through fourth grade together. So, get your surfboards ready and let's have a beach party together!

What have you been up to this summer? Did you journey far away or stay close to home? We all want to hear about your vacation. To do this you will click on the comments section after this message.(It will show how many comments have been added to the post.) Then type your message in the empty box for comments.
